The fact that the Patent Board here in the US is continually siding in the favor of RIM is clear indication in this case.... the injunction is just NTP's way of using the Courts (who don't judge the validity of the patent) to extort money from RIM before their time is up with their patents being declared invalid.

The head of the Patent Board himeself stated that sometimes they are simply just stamping the papers for these patents without really looking at the validity. So I guess that's really where the true issues exists and not in the time issue that I have stated before.
