Are you still unable to bookmark non-Audible files? Since most of my audiobooks are ripped from CD/cassette, this is a feature I need. (If you have audiobooks that you're only gonna listen to once, renting is much better than buying, IMHO).

Also, what about the ability to disable track skipping? So that if you try to rewind or fast forward, you don't accidentally skip to the next track?

The iAudio G2 1GB player ($100) has both of these features, plus works as a UMS device (not sure if the iPod does this, or if you have to have iTunes to transfer files.)
