AMD CPUs are sound and fast
I have built systems for 17 years starting with 8088 units. All current CPUs radiate large amounts of heat and need active cooling or they pop in seconds. AMDs run hotter than Intels but since you need a big heat sink and usually a fan who cares. Both CPUs are fast and stable. AMD is an easier upgrade for older units and is more value prices. Intel is a little more money. Mostly compitition is GOOD here, so buy and AMD and keep them around doing good work. Intel wounldn't be copying them for no reason!
