I think Ken's post was satire
The PowerPC family is IBM's lowest performing chip, yet it
outpaces Intel's top-of-the-line Pentium/Itanium/Xeon
chips.

IBM has always been streets ahead of Intel, just that after
owning the micro-computer market during the 80's they
abadoned the market after the 386. Thank heavens Apple
coaxed them back.
