Baby steps
The Itanium gets better and better - at a glacial pace. Hopefully the design changes (eliminating the x86 "core" especially), will translate into a better chip. It would be nice to see Itanium running at 3+ Ghz speeds with 4 to 8 cores. THEN it will be a world-beater . . .
