Sure, you can buy a new computer for not much more but there is the intrinsic value of owning a piece of equipment that made computing history.

Sure, you can buy a used car or you can buy a used car that Paul Newman owned. You can buy a diamond or you can buy one that Liz Taylor owned. Which one is worth more?

Face it, there is 'celebrity' attached to these machines. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these winding up on eBay for more than they are selling for now.
