Offshoring is not working for Intel.

As a former Intel employee, I can tell you that half of Intel is Indian over in India. I think Intel will need to come up with a better business plan than simply trying to save money by having everything done overseas. Like my father always tells me "You get what you pay for.". I hope this is a lesson for all American businesses that believe offshoring is the grandiose answer to their woes. Ford, Intel, and other American businesses are now learning that there is much more to business success than finding some guy to work for five bucks an hour. Quality, customer appreciation, talent, skill, vision, etc. You can't escape the basics.
