how do you come to the conclusion that AMD yield more processors, with fewer Fabs smaller wafers and larger processing methods (intel's 65nm vs AMD's 90nm)

are you saying Intel has significantly higher defects leading to low yield? i doubt it.

Intel could drop prices significantly and flood the market. AMD can not (even with FAB36 going online later this year).

Intel's price may be higher but they produce over twice an many processors per wafer than AMD, right now. I suspect their margins on their processors are so high they could drop significantly and still pull a profit.

AMD has a better processor, that's all. That alone does not promise success.
