instead of outsourcing support outside of the US, which doesn't seem to help our economy or unemployment statistics, how about investing in software that makes exisiting US-based call center agents more efficient, better utilized, less expensive, etc. Further, why not deploy an intuitive web self-help system so that there are fewer calls into the call centers in the first place!

companies like Primus http://www.primus.com solve both problems it seems.
