I'm work with Indian Christians.
I'm sure if you ARE really a christian then you want them to have a good life as much as you do.
Some of the other things you say are true.
And I have read that they do not pay taxes if they are writing code for export. That is a huge illegal subsidy in my book. Imagine if us companies could pay us the $35-$50k we actually get to keep after income tax, social security tax, unemployment tax and so on instead of the $70 to $110k it costs them to hire us with all the extra taxes we levy in the US to pay for social services. While I can see our taxes might be too high compared to theirs as an argument, there is no way that ZERO taxes is anything but an illegal subsidy to dump their labor on us by the indian government. The indian programmers would lose a lot of their advantage. - Posted by: maxo_z Posted on: 02/11/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
