Darn, guess they won't be announcing low end laptops like I had hoped.

Ho also announced a deal between Apple and Microsoft under which Microsoft will continue creating new versions of Office for Mac for a minimum of five years.

Ok, someone needs to explain this concept to me. Why would Apple make a deal with Microsoft to develop Office? Couldn't MS just do it anyway or pull it at any time they please? As well as any other software developler for that matter? Plus, what about the Mac office suite? Wouldn't this cut into their sales?

Jobs demoed the feature by recording his own mock podcast: "Super Secret Apple Rumors."

"I have some pretty good sources inside Apple and here's what I'm hearing," Jobs said. "The next iPod will be huge...an 8-pounder with a 10-inch screen."

I gotta give Jobs some credit here, he's got a sense of humor happy I wonder what he thinks of all those rumor sites.
