I'm waiting for $200 burners and $1 discs (100+ qty)
I'm willing to wait a little longer for Blue-Ray to drop, Because Blue-Ray has 2/3 more capacity than HD-DVD (HD-DVD 60% of Blue-Ray's capacity, per layer). Complaints of excessive scratch sensitivity on either side could cause changes though. Dual-layer DVD blank disks are dropping in price, some I am fairly content to wait. I don't think HD-DVD is an acceptable improvement over the DVD. CD to DVD is 1:6.25. DVD to HD-DVD is 1:3.42. DVD to Blue-Ray is 1:5.71.
