To some extent, I agree.
"...but if you haven't used OSX a lot you just wouldn't understand..."

I'm sorry to hear we're not quite "into it" with your little club... but I've used OS X. It isn't this computing "nirvana" that Apple's marketers/Mac users would have you believe. It can crash, in my experience, a LOT more than my Windows-run workstation.

"...Macs aren't for everybody, but if you are not a Mac user you wouldn't understand..."

Hence why Apple, in my opinion, is doomed to failure. Embracing exclusionary, non-competitive tactics is the surest way to shoot yourself in the foot in today's rapidly advancing computer world. Apple withdraws itself from that world, using only one platform of hardware. So, while Intel and AMD battle it out for faster and newer chips, Apple has stuck to IBM and Motorola - two companies with relatively little to gain by advancing their consumer chip segments for the sole purpose of making Macs (a blistering 4.2% of household computers) faster.

"..OSX Tiger, which has it all over Windows..."

Tiger could've been interesting, then I saw all the stuff on their "200+ new features" page that had been in Windows XP for the better part of it's 4-year lifetime. To add to that, I got all the new stuff for Windows XP for free, Mac OS X users, however, seem to have fallen for Apple's lame marketing scheme portraying Tiger as a whole new operating system when it's nothing more than a version bump, or, to us Windows users, a service pack. I might add, Tiger the service pack weighs in at a pretty $129.00, a brand-new copy of Windows XP costs less.
