Have you ever used an Apple PC?

Just what percentage of the population do you believe purchase the fastest available PC? Among the people that I know who are not geeks, not many. The average consumer PC sold at retail chains are probably about as fast as an Apple PC.

So when you remove the fastest available CPU you reach the area where most people live, the CPU is fast enough for what they do. At that point there are other things that might be more important such as end-user experience. Apples still come with a respectable amount of quality bundled software some of which is better than after market software available for the PC, Apples are easy to use and probably easier for the non-geek. Apple was doing plug and play when Microsoft was still trying to figure out what it meant.

A computer moron can step up to an Apple and be able to use it without much assistance and someone that knows what they are doing can be very productive with an Apple. I like Apples and I would own one if my work did not involve working with PC's.
