HDTV
The biggest problem I have with HDTV today (besides price) is the low quality being pushed as cutting edge HDTV. I rarely can find any sets that are capable of the top standard, 1080p, even though digital movies are shot at that resolution. Now I realize DVDs are limited to 720p (for now), but I don't want to spend several thousand dollars for a display unit that can't match the source. Besides, PCs did away with interlaced monitors over a decade ago - why are we still putting up with it in our "new" HDTV standards?
