P.S.
If I had a bod like Janet Jackson's, I might be temmpted to "flash" non "Nasty" parts of it too! (Probably NOT during a Super Bowl Halftime Show, though. The old adage is correct: "There is a time and place for everything.")

I watched the Super Bowl this year, as I do every year (I am glued to the television during the entire football season (pre-season and post-season, as well) EVERY football season, even though I'm a "girl!" A "straight" one, by the way, in case anyone is wondering. I watched the Pregame Show, Beyonce's performance of the National Anthem (VERY impessive AND tasteful -- where is HER press?!), and the Halftime Show. I MISSED the split-second bodice-ripping "exposure." Didn't see a thing. I thought her shocked expression and the act of "covering her 'goods'" afterwards were part of the routine. (That's what I get for taking a second to grab another brewski!)

I didn't know anything remiss had happened until the media frenzy the next day. Holy Mammarabilia, Batman! Of the ("generally" -- ask any child psychologist) hyperactive kids watching the game at that hour, who knows how many, or how few, of them were actually GLUED to the set during that performance? Probably not as many as the pervasive press is inclined to believe. If TiVo "caught" it, and parents knew it was there to be seen (with the uproar afterwards, how could they not?), it is the parents' job to filter out the "unmentionable." NOT TiVo's. (Just a reminder: it WAS broadcast LIVE, "warts" and all!)

And Beyonce, if you're monitoring this Super Bowl madness -- EXCELLENT JOB with our National Anthem! You sang your tush off, and it was very tastefully done. You looked, and acted, very respectfully. AND your performance was probably the BEST rendition of the National Anthem that the NFL has had for the Super Bowl in YEARS. Or EVER! YOU GO, GIRL!!
