PVR
I refuse to subscribe to TiVo or any other company that offers PVR. If they were offering the service for free then I may have to give up privacy to some degree, but they charge a fee for the service and still get your info. This is wrong and better yet, how stupid have people become to let these companies do it? Just setup your computer to do it. No data collection to anyone! Any computer retailer can help you or offer you "plug-n-play" computer accessories for your computer to hook up to your home entertainment center and get PVR without any spyware. Even Microsoft offers Windows XP media edition for this purpose. TiVo will become a dead trend.
