I agree that the amount of paper in business is reduced. Not a great deal and not anywhere near the sweeping claims that were made.

I do agree that there will be a merging of technologies, I just don't think this is it. The biggest thing to hold this back is Windows. Windows MCE (Media Center Edition is only XP with a different GUI and some added funtions. The next version will be based on Vista and there is no evidence that it is going to be anymore reliable. Also, how are people going to take it when the hub of their entertainment get a virus or slows to a crawl because of spyware?
The same things were said about the connected home. How many refrigerators are sold with the LCD and internet connection? Convergence WILL happen. It just has a LONG way to go and I don't think this is the product.
