jedi,
unless you give Apple a try, your comments or not credible.
don't read into the bench mark tests run by competing pc
manufacturers, you need to see ones cunducted by
INDEPENDENT parties

i used to be as ignorant as you until work purchased a few
for the owners just to test. now my employer is gearing up
for a major migration project scheduled for early next year.
why? IT depts are a major expense and they would rather
spend $ on proven technology as MacOS has not had a
major virus in 10 yrs and the platform is super stable. also
the hw does not go obsolete as fast, so the tco (total cost
of ownership) is considerably less. we are currently pilot
testing Open Office since we do not need all of the bs
thrown into m$ office, plus the price is very appealing.
imagine how much $ can be saved removing m$ from 250+
workstations and servers. btw, OS X server is a heavy duty
industrial strength server os
