I'm going to go out on a limb here...
...and predict that Sun is not long for this world. They're giving away their software (sans Java--which was never a money maker anyway), they're giving away their hardware designs, and they're no IBM when it comes to making money as a service company.

Exactly what is it they have left to sell?
