What's Dilbert using
Does anyone know what software Sun sells anymore? The last time Sun was relevant was when Dilbert ran a workstation with Sparc v.001. Come on, let be real. Sun has nothing on Linux. It has nothing to sell to promote itself over the competitors. Yell all you want. Their competition isn't Dell. They irked IBM. Talk about b-slapping them! Who are you going to trust for web services? Sun is niche at best and should remain in the server room, get out of Java regardless of the pitch. MS isn't their problem. Everyone in the world has a custom version for a myriad of products. Look up mismanaged and you'll see McNealy's face. Concentrating on chips and operating system made some sense years ago. Not with open source. It's rediculous to imagine Sun in business in five years. Now who has the phone number at Cray or Burroughs? If you want an insight read BusinessWeek's story: McNealy: Why "Sun Is Back".
