You have it right there.
Even though I try to get my music for free, I have to agree...even
the crappiest band playing in your local bar want's paying.
The cost of equipment, studio time, etc, etc, none of it cheap, to
make/record music, (or try to) can pauperise you real quick.
The only free music is the stuff you make yourself...after you
spend out on all the above...(and learn to play of course)...or
you can always listen to the radio...but then you would have to
buy a radio...so that's not free either...oh well, life's hard ain't it?
