That said, you are correct in that you don't own the music you
"buy" from iTunes, you are licensing it (although apparently that
license is transferable, much like when you "buy" software).

This, however, is blatantly incorrect. When you buy a cd (or a
dvd for that matter), you do in fact own that particular instance
of that music. The right of first sale gives you full rights to re-
sell that instance. Yes, you must obey copyright laws, and those
limit what you can do with the instance that you own, but you do
in fact own it.

Heck, I saw an ad on tv the other day for the new dvd of
"Cinderella" and it included the tag-line "Own it today!" Are you
calling Disney a bunch of liars?
