Meltdown Proof Reactors
Well...balsover...there is a solution. Infact, it's cheaper than normal nuclear reactors. Imagine for a moment if you will, a nuclear reactor about one quarter the size of a regualr reactor. Inside are only a few dozen employees, the control room consists of two computers. The reactor produces a fraction the waste of a standard reactor (and as such, any other form of polution)and cost next to nothing when compared to a reactor in our day and age.

It's not just a myth, it's a fact. A company in South Africa produces reactors just like this, and they exist. In china right now.

So there you go. That's how nuclear reactors will change the world.

Further more, your comments about the Soviet navy are completely unfounded. The reason why disposal is necessary of their fleet is not because they're nuclear, but rather because the infrastructure of Russia today is horrible. Do we have any of the same problems in America today with our nuclear submarines? No, we don't. In fact, they save the Navy millions of dollars every year in fuel costs.

Again, even with higher waste producing reactors, seems to me we still have several ocean trenches that we could fill. Those have lots of room left in them. And everything that lives in them is freakish and exposed to tons of radiation anyway...not like it would hurt them.

And, as far as the national debt goes, it will never be paid off, no matter how much money we throw at it, and it's better that we have the debt. It helps with trade.
