skyscrapers in metropolitan areas kill more birds than wind farms. Plus the Germans (engineers extrodinaire) have created low RPM wind generators that are safer for our avian friends. As for these farms adding to global warming... I don't see it.

Increased area temp? How do you figure? Come on, I am an engineer and yes there is some thermal increase but the amount of heat generated is nothing compared to the heat of rush hour traffic.

Higher electromagnetic fields... this is a ripe one! If you knew anything about electric generation then you should know that this is not that big a deal. Transmission lines that carry the electricity are far more dangerous than the main generators. Why is that? Simple the generators are stationary and generally well supported structures, hence they are capable of being better shielded than a power line.

Wind farms are not that dangerous, and many of them are proposed in areas that are low impact to both wildlife AND our way of life.
