You're refusing to see some basic facts

No, we put it in Yuka Mountain. The better option is to reprocess most of it for fresh Uranium. The problem is that the anti-Nuclear lobby (which you?ve bought in to) refuse to see the light and will do anything to stop any kind of progress in Nuclear reprocessing and waste management. They?re doing anything to stop Yuka Mountain with lawsuits demanding that the site be secured for 1 million years which is completely ludicrous. Ludicrous is the whole point because they know they can tie it up in court forever with idiot judges. The point is that they can sabotage good clean Nuclear waste management and make it impossible to have nuclear energy in this country. I?m not making this stuff up, this is exactly what their strategy is.

The other tactic used by the anti-Nuclear lobby is that they will physically block trains carrying nuclear waste claiming that the transport isn?t safe. What?s never told by the main stream press is that you can drop these containers from 10,000 feet on to solid rock and no radiation or waste will leak out. Your problem is that you refuse to acknowledge any kind of common sense because you?ve been brain washed in to believing anything Nuclear is bad.

All the nuclear waste in the world per year would barely fill an acre. What in the world are you talking about when you say "does not scale up well"? The bed thing is just a figurative point that I would personally be fine with having a shoe box full of 100% contained nuclear waste in my house. Get over the bed thing, the stuff is not that bad. There are much more dangerous materials than Nuclear waste which came from nature in the first place. The only difference is that it?s in concentrated form which can be safely contained.
