So basically, they want to turn these empty oil and gas wells into industrial septic tanks and make everyone in the area hope they don't rupture while they spend the next millennia filling them up with no way to properly dispose of the gas should they fill up or break. Gee, why not build a bunch of nuclear power plants before we figure out how to properly dispose of the waste that will be generated.
