Aw, no, the 2 messages above changed my mind.
Awww, so close..
So here I am thinking of getting Tivo.
I've been browsing for months thinking of getting a Tivo, then WHAM!,
They have a dongle so I can't watch my shows where I want , when I want. With all the VCRs in the world, who cares. ( I guess they worryed about movies, but the quality isn't the same). And what about Macs (just curious)?

Then,,,, I can't transfer the life time agreement to where ever I feel like; Another recorder, my dog, whatever.

Well, back to looking at DVD-recorders.
