Applying your values to someone in a different culture may not be applicable. You can't use your yardstick when measuring someone else's needs. When it comes to the world of a hungry African teen you have not got a clue. Many have lost parents and other family members to disease and famine and you want to show him the joys of your XBox? Decent medical care food and shelter is what a hungry African teen wants, not your Gameboy.

By the way being gluttonous is not a virtue. The last time I looked it was one of the seven deadly sins.
