With all the insight into the future and the I-TOLD-YOU-S0, SAW-IT-COMIN' comments, I first had thought I had logged on a Palm reading web page!!! Geeezzzz... I'm sure Gateway would love all the advice at their next board meeting.

There will be always be a market for low-end PC's - too many users just want to read/send joke-emails, pass viruses around, and unknowingly let their machines act as servers for spammers so somebody will be buying the "yugos". Plus, there will always be some purchasing agent thinking he's just saved the company 1000's of dollars by placing an order(s) for stuff - it will be up to all of us poor souls whos task will be trying to keep the junk running - and hopefully to stop those dollar only seeing agents in time before they make those mistakes...

Otherwise we will all be able to cry to one another on websites like these,forecasting the future of other endeavours - like the fall of the Western World or Asian takeover of everything electric... Wait a minute, ain't that happened already???
