Innovative R/D
Although SUN is not doing very well in terms of sales, they
still have the stamina, determination and interest in
pushing the boundaries in micro-processor technology.

If they had the resources that Intel has at its disposal they
would be the number one RISC processor company.

At the same time, Intel looks more and more like the the
wealthy, fat kid which is trying to catch with the other
nimbler kids far ahead. Why Intel cannot manage to put a
decent 64 bit microprocessor with all the resources it
posseses? Even AMD has better designs.
