Dell is selling AMD chips. But why?

It's the LAWSUIT, Stupid!!

Ever since word of AMD's lawsuit became public knowledge, all of a sudden, as if by magic, manufacturers and retailers across the globe began cautiously ramping up their AMD numbers. Who on Earth hasn't figured out that either (1)Intel has systematically begun to release pressure on those companies who were so stiflingly under its thumb, or (2)companies have become emboldened by the news and are breaking away from the Intel fold?? Whether or not this is Intel's back-handed attempt at saving face, the effect still seems to be heading toward what AMD has sought from the start: fairness.
