We're a Fortune 200 company and buy AMD whenever we can, including the desktop. If HP made a 6200 series form factor notebook, we'd be buying those too!

Didn't you notice Dell has reported nothing but bad news over the past several quarters? Guess what? Dell doesn't sell AMD.

You should have bought the Athlon 64. For every application that isn't multi-threaded (and there are plenty), you're taking a big hit on the Pentium D. They're cheaper because they're inferior technology. Now you have deep pipelines and inferior chip interconnect technology. Smart move. HyperTransport makes the difference, not the CPU.
