Actually....
Far be it for me to disagree, since all of my machines are AMD, but have you ever heard of Itanium? it is NOT an X86 architecture. And it is not exactly selling well. Most likely because of it's extremely poor 32 bit performance. They still are making new versions of this processor. HP which was the developer of the original Itanium, and they are not exactly all that thrilled about it. Cutting back on servers supporting Itanium. (Intel would have you believe they made it)
