Actually industry figures for the past 3 quarters...
...show that AMD has surpassed Intel in desktop chippie sales. People are voting with their wallets and the gutless mfgs. who were intimidated by Intel in the past finally grew some balls now that AMD has filed a major lawsuit against Intel for violation of anti-trust laws. The only reason Intel has been able to hang on this long with inferior, obsolete, over-heating, defective products, is because they have been buying all of their sales and reportedly using illegal strong-arm tactics to discourage PC mfgs. from using AMD products.

That program ain't gonna work no more so Intel is up the creek !!!
