Made in China?
Are they really? Most of the electronics made these days are from Japanese companies. They're darn good products and inexpensive, for the most part. Sometimes "made in china" or "made in mexico" simply means that they were assembled in those countries, it is a legal requirement. I know a lot of companies that design and sell products ship the parts to other countries just to assemble them. I happened to speak with a Fender rep one day about the good quality of the Mexican and Japanese Stratocasters, and how they were very comparable to the US made ones. He assured me that the parts were nearly identical (better in some cases) in both the US and Mexican products. The fact that they were assembled in Mexico allowed them to save money and offer those products at less cost to consumers. I have experience with strats from many different countries and I can tell you that the ones that are made in china and korea are horrible when compared to the previously mentioned products. Take apart your electronic devices sometime and you will see many clues to their true origin, doubtful that it is china. Most products that actually are "all chinese" are usually crap.
