This is weird
China actually "developing" something, instead of "copying" it, is at best weird. They usually copy things and the things they copy are usually crap. I believe something like 20 percent of their economy is from copied products (not cheap imitations but cheaply made copies). China is the single worst violator of patents in the world. I try my best to avoid anything with a "made in china" sticker.
