speed of light and time are not the same
Light speed can be measured in time which makes the speed of time obviously faster.
Breaking the half-cycle of time is not going to be accomplished by altering the speed of photons.
If photon's consist of matter then perhaps by splitting the photon it could be slowed simply because of the weight/inertia factors.
Perhaps the speed of photon's change accordingly to whether they are attracted to or repelled by "X"
"Time" is attracted to the future and is repulsed by the past.
While numerous persons have expounded that it should be possible to reverse this process by various methods, it does not appear that this could be accomplished by varying the speed of light as there is no true correlation between the speed of light and the speed of time.
"Past" and "future" are infinite and "now" is stationary.
These are the 3 measurements of "time".
A suitable vehicle for leaving "now" in the "future" would by necessity require that it is also possible to hold "now" in the "past" without travelling into the future.
It would then be necessary so it seems to put the future into the past without spanning the intermittent time.
It would then reason that the past can be brought into the future.
The proposal would have to include the possibility of manipulating the shape of the time-line or of manipulating the lay of the time-line.
Rotate the time-line ?
"Speed" is not the force which could accomplish such a task.
Supposing that time does not consist of matter but rather of "event" or "nothing" as the only known options another option would have to be defined.
Suppose we refer to that option as "option".
It now becomes necessary to "opt" out of "time" for the purpose of travelling along the time-line.
Traverssing back in time beyond "now" seems to be best accomplished by the current method of utilyzing records and movement into the future might be slow and limited but at least we get there.
