Speed not of Light
I love how the physics community seems to think there is such a thing as the speed of light when we know it changes for gravitational fields and while passing through matter. Frankly I dare anyone to find that magic vacuum where the speed of light exists. It doesn't. As to time travel, this is just nuts. It isn't going to do anything to time since time is an artifical construct by mankind having no reality what so ever. There is an order to events. It is possible to have one set of events preceed another but that doesn't make time travel. It is just an order change. Sorry to bust the heads of the physics nuts, but that pretty much busts your fancy cosmology too. It also is what reality is.
