extremely lucky on the GX270s
the GX270s are seriously bad... it was a small percentage that didnt have problems. They had bad caps int he power supply as well as on the motherboard. Most of the ones that the power supply dies on, it will surge the board and pop all the caps on the VRM componet and make you have to replace both parts.

You may want to open your GX270s and look at the 1 cap beside the AGP slot, and the 4 that look the same around the memory slots and see if any are bulging. If they have an X etching on top, they wil most likely bulge and bulge for a long time before they start causing problems.
