i would love to go with the higher cable modem speeds but there are too many draw backs right now..

higher price is one.. i would end up paying an extra $15 month just for cable vs DSL

having DSL also makes it more convienient for the location of the computer. you usually do not have cable in every room but are more likely to have a phone jack in every room.. if you only have cable in the living room who wants to go run a cable from there to where the computer is just to have internet access at the computer. If you dont have a phone jack then just runnning a small phone line in there or adding another jack would not cost much.. cannot say the same thing about cable lines..
