The processor switches between "processes." You can have multiple threads per process, but as a general rule you don't want threads running concurently cause they are in the same memory space and can screw each other up faster than you can say "race conditions." I dunno am I the only one who thinks that words like hyperthreading, VMT and such are all misnomers? I realize that hyperprocessing isn't as sexy sounding...
