Another Transmeta?
Low power was THEIR claim to fame - and they even got to the point of building processors. This just woke up the sleeping giant (InHell), which resulted in their being stepped on. There IS a theoretical minimal power (i.e. voltage) that can be used in a chip. You NEED 0.7v for bias voltage in silicon transistors, so you couldn't go lower (or equal to) that number. You COULD use 0.8v, but that would be very tricky to regulate which effectively means that you use 1v - which is where everyone else is TODAY.
