Do I ultimately pay taxes, sure, but then I also sent my children to school, have police and fire protection, have paved roads instead of dirt paths, have medicaid for the elderly, hot lunch programs for those that need it, and, well the list gets rather long doesn't it.

Now do these corporations pay their share of these taxes? Not a chance. DOesa that result in lower pricves for goods and services? Not that I can see. Here is a little clue from someone you may recognize, he went by the name of Abe Lincoln.

Shortly before his death, he warned that "corporations have been enthroned . . . . An era of corruption in high places will follow and the money power will endeavor to prolong its reign by working on the prejudices of the people . . . until wealth is aggregated in a few hands . . . and the republic is destroyed."

Gee, do you think he may have been talking about guys like Bill Gates who has more personal wealth than 90% of the countries in the world? Naw, could never happen...
