You are right
Executives in companies SHOULD be interested in the common good of their stockholders and employees. It certainly seems that the wages for top executives have become totally ridiculous.

I do believe, however, that free market forces will once again cause this to return to a more normal state. Not tomorrow, but one day in the not too distant future. Corporate America's shareholders will begin demanding accountability and the days of outlandish salaries will be a bad memory.
