At the Expense of the Many for the Few
An open call to all development, technology, manufacturing and engineering firms world wide.

When the few in Silicon Valley, Redmond, Mexico, Bangalore and other Regions in South East Asia increase their wealth at radical amounts at the expense of many workers abroad, in their home countries, in the US, Canada and Europe there is something systematically and ethically wrong with business.

Generations past the gap between junior employees and senior management might max out at a 5 to 1 ratio. It is conceivable that the ability of individuals to grow companies might warrant a 10 to 1 ratio ? but this is far from the case today. Gaps have widened. Security has decreased. Executives are compensated base on the surplus years and not penalized base on the lean years.

This is a wake up call to the majority of good or misdirected companies ? become innovative, productive and human again. There is a time when the builders of organizations took great joy in owning something great. Now all they have left is the dollars they accumulated at the end of the game. No joy, no accomplishment only the accumulated wealth. Wealth is good ? it?s how you achieve it that can make you proud.
