How is this better?
I'm going to run my apps off a server...12 to 15 per blade. This means 6 or 7 per CPU...since they are dual-processor blades. I can run my apps on my own CPU, locally, and have a 1:1 CPU-to-user ratio, no network overhead. And if the network or server goes down, I can keep working. So...how is running remotely better? Management tools can remotely administer PCs. I see no advantage to this really. Its an attempt to come up with a new fad to sell to CIOs as "the new direction you need to take".
