This makes quite a bit of sense.
When someone dominates the desktop to such a degree that you can't win it back, eliminate the desktop.

I can see some advantages. As long as session setup on a thin client is minimal, I don't see what this wouldn't work.

Now if this is with a Windows desktop, I could see the File and Transfer Settings wizard used to pull the virtual desktop off onto a Notebook for those mobile client. This is unless ofcourse Wyse has something better such as a thick client.

From the administrative point of view, I like the idea very much, however, this will not be my solve all. Many of my users are tied to Workstations because of MCAD applications. The idea is nice though. I think this could eliminate around 200 or so desktops here.
