to the three of you......

I never said Intel had a better chip, I actually inferred that AMD does, and they do.

AMD has teamed up with a couple tier 1 OEM's but they only sell them in the home boxes, the cheap ass crappy home boxed that come out of the box running like garbage, not because the AMD chip is the problem but because they have so much crappy trial software loaded on them and all the other hardware components are garbage.

in fact i just went to gateways web site, ZERO business class AMD desktops, Leveno Same thing, Dell duh, only HP offers such a beast and only in 2 (low end) configurations.

So when i said "if you think thats cause AMD is the better chip your crazy" what i ment was AMD is still being put in with the bargain basement crap PC's that appeal to the majority of the home user market.

On the the desktop they aren't selling because of quality of chip but because they are cheeper. Unfortunately cheep boxes run like crap until just after the warrenty period and then they die, what does the user say "F***in cheep AMD peice of crap im never buyin one of those again. its the K6 and K7 rap all over again.

next time read my post, cause non of you responded to it.

P.S. just to clarify I think CPU to CPU AMD has a better line of CPU's all around. But i dont think, in fact i KNOW, Intel doesn't need to be worried.
