How do you gain market share by building bigger plant?
Don't forget the old slur of wintel Microsoft isn't the only one known for "leveraging" they among other practices(at the time that I heard of it)cut price breaks on certain conditions to keep their proccessors in the limelight. While I agree that production qoutas have been a serious thorn in their side the competition could still turn ugly at some point.
